It is worth to note that the episode ends with a fantastic Sanskrit saying “मौक्तिकं न गजे गजे”.
Hindi movie byomkesh bakshi tv#
There are no special effects (like we see in many TV serials these days, where a lot of money is spent but then also sometimes are unable to create the impact) and you don’t feel a need of it. There are no out of the life characters and/or dialogs in this episode. The wardrobe reflects the time of the story authentically. The locations are chosen pretty wisely and they look very real (in terms of the story setup, they are real otherwise :)). He can prove his metal if given better chance. Somesh Agrawal as Sharda Prasad leaves his mark. Anupama Chatterji (playing Sheela) is not effective at all. Baghi is convincing as Shailendra, but he could have perform better. Raj Shekhar plays Tarashankar effectively. Mulraj Rajda leaves his impact in quite small role. Not only their dialogs but also their body language complements to the scenes they do. It proves again that how dependable they are, as actors. In terms of acting, Rajit Kapoor and K K Raina are scene stealer and there are no two thoughts on that. This significantly tells that Byomkesh started getting busy those days and there are more and more people approaching him to assist them in various manners. The details are worked on very effectively in screenplay, for example, we got to know from Ajit that there is something urgent awaiting for them in Calcutta (now Kolkata), but Byomkesh is an old friend of Sashank so they come by putting the rest on hold. The director is in complete control of what he is exploring, and it is clearly visible through out the episode. The screenplay adapts the story pretty well and makes it appealing to the audience of the time when the episode was aired. The story also takes on the people who blindly believe in anything regardless of searching for the facts. Author Saharadindu came with a quite new vision as the character of a ghost. The story may look quite simple today, but was very effective when the episode aired, and got good response when originally published. To know the answer you need to explore the episode vide. As there was no money or diamond found inside the room, they also consider that the killer ran away with all the money and/or diamonds.Ījit asks a very logical question here, where in all this a ghost comes to the picture? Fiding this unusual, she called in people and ultimately police, who broke the door and found Vaikunth Das lying on the floor, dead!Īs there were no blood spots or anything, police come to the conclusion that the murder is done by giving immense pressure on Vaikunth Das’ neck. One morning when Vaikunth Das’ niece Sheela get to the first floor to serve him morning tea, she found that he hasn’t opened the door of his room. He then picks the needed stuff from the first floor and deals with the customer. When anyone come to purchase diamonds from him, he keeps them to stay on the ground floor. Though he have a jewellery shop in the town, he used to do his diamond business from his home only. On the first floor there was a single room where Vaikunth das was living. The ground floor of the home was used for all purposes. There were two other members living in the smae home including his aged servent and a niece.
